Who Is LifePoint?

LifePoint is dedicated group of believers who desire to become deeply devoted followers of Christ, and to change the world around us by loving God and loving others as ourselves.

We want to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. We do that in one simple way…be like Jesus. While we may never obtain it, we will always strive for it.

In your Life

We want to help you get to know God better and enable you to become who He’s created you to be. No matter where you are in life, we’ll help you figure out some next steps in your journey with Him. It could start with serving, participating in a personal growth plan, giving, or

Joining a small group – or LifeGroup – can help you grow closer to God while building relationships with other people. Having a strong community of friends to laugh, grow, and serve with will make a lasting difference in your life.

Along the way, we hope to work with you to advance the Kingdom of God and make the world a better place.

For your Family

We believe that strong families start with a solid foundation. We partner with parents to help raise up the next generation to have a strong relationship with Jesus. There are opportunities throughout the week for children and teens to grow closer to each other and to God.

In our Community

We’re serving a global community…in person and online, individually and in groups, inside our church and around the world. We serve in many different ways, but there’s one common thread: people who are passionate about demonstrating God’s love to others. As a church we support and engage in several causes to serve our global community. Learn more

The People

The church isn’t a building–it’s people. And we think you’ll find LifePoint a pretty friendly bunch! We meet
here and globally online. Check out the location page or visit our Facebook
page for more details and times.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

 Troy Doster, Lead Pastor

As the primary teaching pastor, Troy has a passion to share God’s word in simple, yet life impacting ways. He is one of the founding pastors of LifePoint. He and his wife, Julie, have five biological children; Kelsey, Brianna, Ryan, Elijah & Rylee and two adopted sons Jack and Lance. Troy and Julie also house and care for several other children in need. Troy has been in ministry for 30 years and has found that the greatest life change and Kingdom advancement comes through personal discipleship. He is available for spiritual counseling and life coaching.

What we believe:
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for
our beliefs.
We do not claim or adhere to any denominational teachings, but are solely
identified as followers/disciples of Jesus Christ and abide by every teaching in His
Holy Word.
We believe that as we grow in our walk with God, that our understanding of Him
and His Word may compel us to change a previous held belief. Therefore, as we
need to change these statements of faith we will do so and not hold to incorrect
beliefs if at all possible

Service Details

Weekly worship experience – Our weekly worship experience is our opportunity to lift up the name of our great God and let Him know how much we love Him. We do that through worship in song, giving, serving and various use of the arts. This time is also for us to hear from God as our pastor shares His Word. Messages are practical, challenging, encouraging and deep rooted in scripture. Dress is casual so you are free to come as you are. No one will stare you down for wearing jeans. Well, there is that one guy…kidding!

Kid City – Kids love Jesus and love to have fun! Kid City gives kids 3 years to 5th grade a place to do both. Kids are engaged through worship, lessons and games. If you want your child to learn about Jesus and really have a blast doing it, bring them to Kid City!
Teen City – We are starting Teen City for our high school young men & women(9-12th).
Youth – Youth is for 6th to 8th graders. Youth helps mature your faith in Christ, and prepares you to spread the gospel out into the world.
