How Do I Get Involved?

LifePoint is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at LifePoint Church.

WE ARE DOERS…NOT JUST HEARERS

Whether you’re into numbers, words, technology, or people, God can use your gifts and skills to make a difference. There are several ways you can put your gifts to work at LifePoint no matter where you are in the world.

CAMPUS SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

One of the best ways to meet people, develop relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ is to serve the local church. And it’s not just on the weekends! Serving opportunities are available seven days a week.

Love Team: As a member of the Love Team, you’ll create a comfortable environment so people can receive God’s truth. Serve during the weekend experience, during TNT, or for Unite as a greeter, usher, parking attendant, in hospitality, or behind the scenes.

LifeGroups: In a group environment, individuals can grow in their relationship with God and others, their career, their financial life, and their physical health. LifeGroup volunteers can gain leadership skills and support personal growth by serving as group leaders, hosts, or administrative support.

KidCity: To help families raise fully devoted followers of Christ, KidCity provides small group interaction, worship, age-appropriate biblical teaching, and fun for newborns through 5th graders. During the weekend and throughout the week, you can make a difference in the life of a child by serving as a facilitator, helper, guest services, administrative support, and more.

Unashamed: Meeting on Wednesday nights, Unashamed challenges students to become fully devoted followers of Christ. There are several ways for adults to serve mid-high and high school students including small group leaders, student mentors, security, and administrative support.

Administrative & S.W.A.T: If you’re more comfortable working behind the scenes, we have several opportunities for you: recycling, prayer, meal preparation, finance, data entry, graphic design, event preparation, and so much more. Hours are flexible.

CHURCH ONLINE SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

Church Online provides an environment to “go and make disciples” in new ways. By leveraging technology, we have the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world through our computers.

Experience Team: Our experience team creates a comfortable environment for guests during our live experiences. Through chat conversation, you’ll connect with people from around the world, pray with them, and provide resources and follow-up opportunities.

Response Team: Using a simple online email system, this team responds to people all over the world who have expressed a desire for follow-up through prayer, encouragement, and new believer discipleship.

OFFICE SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

Office Teams offer support and resources for all ministries at LifePoint. Through teams like Information Technology, Creative Arts, and Web Design you can be a part of equipping LifePoint and Church Online.

Administrative & Special Projects: As the foundation that supports LifePoint, you can use your administrative gifts by setting up and serving at special events, answering phones, and organizing day-to-day ministry functions.

Information Technology (IT): Detail-oriented volunteers provide a valuable service by keeping the database that keeps our church running smoothly in top-notch condition through front-end data entry and accuracy checks, which can be done from anywhere. Additional opportunities are available for technically skilled and trained individuals.

Web Design & Development: Our Web Team develops web projects including the LifePoint website, Unashamed, Unite, Twitter and Facebook pages. Experienced volunteer web designers and developers are vital in creating and maintaining these sites. Projects, scope of involvement, and hours vary. Another way to serve with Digerati is responding to user questions and support issues for various user-based websites.

Creative Arts Team: If you’ve ever wanted to experience life on a movie set, you can be part of LifePoint’s Creative Arts Team. We are looking for actors, voice over talent, production assistants, hairstylists, grips, set builders…the list goes on and on. We live in an entertainment society so we want to use talented people to get the right message out!
